Over half of the Rams fanbase voted that they’re not confident in the team
Following last week’s loss to the Chicago Bears, confidence in the Los Angeles Rams took another dive in the SB Nation Reacts poll despite the team winning people back in Week 3. Coming off of a 27-24 win over the hated 49ers, last week’s results showed that 84% of Rams fans were confident in the direction of the team again.
But following the loss to the Bears, that number dropped to 48% in Week 5. Can the Rams recover against the Green Bay Packers and get it over 50% again?
The Rams opened as 3.5-point underdogs to Green Bay in Week 5, according to FanDuel sportsbook. But that number is down to 3 points as of Saturday evening.
However, 70% of those surveyed answered that they would bet on the Packers to cover the spread.
On the bright side, the Rams activated cornerback Darious Williams from IR and he should make his debut at a much-needed position this week. It’s possibly L.A.’s offensive line is also getting comfortable, although Cooper Kupp will not be returning on Sunday so the team is still needing help from reinforcements. In this case, that should be more Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington and Demarcus Robinson.
At 1-3, a lot of teams wouldn’t still have 48% of fans supporting the franchise. The Rams have survived worse, what does Sean McVay have in store for the fans this time?
