Former Vikings Around the League: Week 4 Recap

I’ve been putting statistics from former Minnesota Vikings at the bottom of links posts, but if I’m honest, I think they deserve a standalone post.

To add some extra value, I’ve added a couple more stats to beef up each bulletpoint.

Below you’ll find how some former Vikings fared in Week 4 (please comment any I miss so I can add them, and note the new format for easier reading):

  • Cowboys (20-15 win over NYG): Eric Kendricks played 67 snaps and had 13 total tackles (six solo) with a PFF grade of 56.2; Andrew Booth Jr. played 27 snaps and had five total tackles and a pass defensed with a 31.1 PFF grade; Linval Joseph played 22 snaps but did not appear in the box score, and had a 49.5 PFF grade
  • Giants (20-15 loss to DAL): Duke Shelley played 14 snaps but did not appear in the box score and had a 60.2 PFF grade
  • Packers (31-29 loss to MIN): Eric Wilson played 26 snaps and had two total tackles (one solo) with a a 41.1 PFF grade
  • Falcons (26-24 win over NO): Kirk Cousins played 56 snaps and completed 21 of 35 passes for 238 yards and a 0-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio with a 70.0 PFF grade; Storm Norton played 56 snaps and had a 61.2 PFF grade; Mike Hughes played 57 snaps and had seven total tackles with an 80.1 PFF grade
  • Saints (26-24 loss to ATL): Oli Udoh played four snaps and had a 57.5 PFF grade
  • Steelers (27-24 loss to IND): Cordarrelle Patterson played nine snaps and rushed six times for 43 yards while catching two passes for 19 yards with a 71.6 PFF grade; Dean Lowry played eight snaps but did not appear in the box score with a 37.1 PFF grade
  • Jets (10-9 loss to DEN): Tyler Conklin played 68 snaps and caught 4-of-8 targets for 17 yards with a 53.8 PFF grade; Jalyn Holmes played 27 snaps but did not appear in the box score with a 36.5 PFF grade; Chazz Surratt played 15 snaps and had two total tackles (two solo) with a 55.3 PFF grade
  • Jaguars (24-20 loss to HOU): Ezra Cleveland played 58 snaps with a 67.5 PFF grade
  • Texans (24-20 win over JAX): Stefon Diggs played 62 snaps and caught 5-of-9 targets for 69 yards while adding one rush for six yards and a touchdown with a 77.1 PFF grade; Cam Akers played 30 snaps and rushed 13 times for 53 yards with a 73.0 PFF grade; Danielle Hunter played 44 snaps and had two total tackles and one quarterback hit with a 63.8 PFF grade
  • Patriots (30-13 loss to SF): KJ Osborn played 42 snaps and caught 1 of 5 targets for three yards with a 55.2 PFF grade
  • Browns (20-16 loss to LV): Za’Darius Smith played 30 snaps and had three total tackles (two solo) with a 69.0 PFF grade; Dalvin Tomlinson played 35 snaps and had two total tackles with a 59.2 PFF grade; Jordan Hicks played five snaps and had one total tackle with a 31.6 PFF grade
  • Raiders (20-16 win over CLE): Alexander Mattison played 21 snaps and rushed five times for 60 yards and did not catch his only target with a 75.8 PFF grade (No. 1 on the Las Vegas offense)
  • Chargers (17-10 loss to KC): Troy Dye played 15 snaps and had three total tackles (one solo) and added a half-sack and one quarterback hit with a 41.1 PFF grade
  • In our rookie quarterback watch-along, Washington’s Jayden Daniels was unsurprisingly brilliant with an 82.7 PFF grade on 71 snaps as he completed 26-of-30 passes for 233 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also rushed eight times for 47 yards with a touchdown. Bo Nix, meanwhile, was his usual brand of #bad with a 48.9 PFF grade as he completed 12 of 25 passes for 60 yards (!) and a touchdown while adding three yards on five carries. Caleb Williams took 60 snaps for the Bears and graded out on PFF with a 65.6 mark. He completed 17 of 23 passes for 157 yards with a touchdown and added five carries for 12 yards. Drake Maye did not appear for New England.
