VIDEO: Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff CATCHES 7-yard touchdown pass.
The Detroit Lions have had no shortage of trick plays under offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. Just last week, they pulled a hook-and-ladder to perfection.
But none have been as bold and as entertaining as the one they pulled off against the Seattle Seahawks on “Monday Night Football.” Facing a second-and-goal, the Lions ran an end-around to Amon-Ra St. Brown. However, the Lions All Pro receiver suddenly stopped, cocked his arm back, and threw it to quarterback Jared Goff, who was patiently waiting in the end zone.

Credit to Johnson for the bold play call, but a ton of credit goes to St. Brown for a beautiful pass on a well-covered play.
The play would put the Lions up 28-14 in the second half against the Seahawks, but with both offenses moving the ball, it certainly did put the game away. In fact, Seattle would go right back and make it 28-20 before the end of the third quarter.
