Stock up, stock down following the Bills’ loss to the Ravens
The Buffalo Bills (3-1) came into Sunday Night Football with an undefeated record and looking to take more of a foothold in the AFC East by trying to beat the Baltimore Ravens (2-2). With Buffalo looking to continue being one of the undefeated teams in the NFL in its pursuit of a deep playoff run, the Bills did not show up to the occasion.
Buffalo lost at the Ravens on Sunday 35-10 and while the score gives the picture of a lopsided affair, there are more numbers to show how much Buffalo was overmatched in this one. Not only did Baltimore running back Derrick Henry run for 199 yards and one touchdown on 24 carries, but the Ravens ran for 271 yards as a unit, including quarterback Lamar Jackson rushing for 54 yards and one touchdown on the ground as well.
The Bills’ defense was unable to do anything to stop Baltimore’s rushing attach and Buffalo’s offense did not show up to the field either as the unit put up just 236 total yards on 57 plays, good for just 4.2 yards per play. With that being said, here is the Bills’ stock report following Sunday’s Week 4 loss at the Ravens:
Stock Up: TE Dalton Kincaid

After a Week 1 in which Kincaid had just one catch for 11 yards, he has really turned it around as he seems to have found his footing within the passing game. In a game in which the Bills needed offensive production from anyone to help the team get back into the thick of things, Kincaid had the most catches and the most yards that he has had in a game this season.
Stock Down: QB Josh Allen

Allen did not play terribly in this game as he still had a solid outing passing the ball and running the ball as well. However, there were some plays that Allen would probably want to have back, but it’s hard to place too much blame on him given how tenacious Baltimore’s pass rush was throughout the contest.
Stock Up: LB Dorian Williams

While Buffalo’s defense left a lot to be desired against a Baltimore team looking to run the football all night long, Williams was one of the players that showed up to play like he has done all season. Williams had his fourth straight game of at least nine tackles and was also able to pick up a tackle for a loss as well.
Stock Down: Bills Run Defense

No one should be ashamed of getting beat by the combined rushing attack of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry in any given game, especially a rainy one. However, for a Bills defense that had allowed 355 rushing yards through its first three games played, Buffalo allowed a lot more than that in this one, including allowing Henry to run all over them for well over 200 yards.
Stock Up: WR Khalil Shakir

Shakir did not necessarily have his best game of the season, but him being highlighted in this section is to recognize the fact that he has been consistent for the Bills ever since this season began. Sunday was his third game with at least four catches and second game with at least 62 yards receiving.
Stock Down: RB James Cook

Cook wasn’t necessarily inefficient with his play on the field, but Sunday’s game against the Ravens did represent an outing where Cook did not make any plays that stood out, especially in a game that the Bills needed to score to be competitive. To be fair, once Buffalo trailed big, the game went out of Cook’s hands as the Bills sought to pass down the field, but Cook was also noticeably quiet before that point in the game came to pass.
