2024 NFL Week 5: New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings in London

This week, the Minnesota Vikings will take a trip across the big pond, as Week 5 will see the purple “host” the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.
This is the second time in three years that the Vikings have gone over to the United Kingdom. In 2022, they served as the visiting team when they faced the New Orleans Saints, escaping with a 28-25 victory when the Saints missed a field goal as time expired.
The Vikings have never lost a game in the United Kingdom. In fact, including preseason games played in foreign venues, they’ve never lost an overseas game anywhere. That includes stops in Germany, Japan, and even Sweden.
Minnesota has, of course, been one of the big stories in the early portion of this 2024 season. Despite expectations for the team being ridiculously low, they’ve gotten out of the gates at 4-0 and have already taken down three teams who were on the short list of Super Bowl contenders going into the 2024 season. This is their last game before their bye week and it would be a big boost to get there at 5-0 despite having to deal with some injury issues in the early going.
They’ll face a Jets team that is finally getting the full Aaron Rodgers Experience, albeit a week later than they had initially hoped. The Jets come into this one with a 2-2 mark and are coming off of a 10-9 loss at home to the Denver Broncos, a game they lost despite allowing just 60 passing yards and 186 total yards to Bo Nix and company. They’re still just a game behind Buffalo in the AFC East chase, so they’ll be hoping to not fall too much further behind.
Kickoff for this one is going to be pretty early, as things will get underway at 8:30 AM Central time on the NFL Network. The game will also be broadcast on one of the local stations in the Twin Cities area, and once we find out which one we will pass that information along to everybody.
