Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 9/30/24

The Los Angeles Rams lost on Sunday and fell to 1-3 on the season. The San Francisco 49ers won their game to rise to 2-2 while the Arizona Cardinals lost and are now 1-3, but they hold the tie breaker over LA. The Seattle Seahawks play on Monday and will either be 3-1 or 4-1 (unless there is a tie) after the game, so Seattle is safely in first place at this time.

There are still 13 games left for Sean McVay and the rest to figure this out, but they are behind right now and there is no denying that. Thank you for checking out Turf Show Times. Please comment on whatever you want. No victory Monday today.

NFL Week 4 grades: Eagles get an ‘F’ for blowout loss to Bucs, Vikings earn solid grade after moving to 4-0 (cbssports)

“The Bears offense might not be a thing of beauty yet, but their defensive performance was on Sunday. The Bears defense beat up on Matthew Stafford, sacking him three times while also forcing two turnovers. Montez Sweat forced a Stafford to fumble in the first half that led to a short 16-yard TD drive for the Bears. In the second half, Jaquan Brisker came up with a game-sealing interception. Offensively, the offseason signing of D’Andre Swift finally paid off with the running back totaling 165 yards and a touchdown (93 rushing and 72 receiving). The Bears got a strong defensive performance and an efficient showing from their offense and there’s no reason why they can’t win more games with that same formula.“

Latest Los Angeles Rams News Offers Ominous Update on Puka Nacua Injury and Cooper Kupp’s Status (lafbnetwork)

“According to Glazer, Nacua is expected to be out for another month while recovering from his knee injury. Meanwhile, Kupp’s ankle injury will cause him to miss “at least the next two weeks.”

This means Stafford will be without his top two receivers from at least Weeks 2-6. For Nacua, it’s an even longer absence, as he hasn’t played since the season opener and may not be back until Week 9’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 3.”

NFL Week 4 Recap: Chicago Bears 24, Los Angeles Rams 18 (pff.com)

“For all the heat No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams took for his understandably shaky performance through his first few NFL games, he now has the Chicago Bears sitting at 2-2 after the team was 0-4 at this time last year.

There remains room for improvement from the 22-year-old, but he went without a turnover-worthy play for the first time in his young NFL career in the Bears’ 24-18 Week 4 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

PFF’s dedicated team of graders was hard at work, analyzing every player on every play in real time. The grades and data will be available after a thorough review tomorrow at 12 p.m. EST.”
