Can LA notch their first regular season win over Green Bay since 2018?
The Los Angeles Rams aim to rebound by getting back into the win column against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5, with LA listed as a 3.5-point underdog per FanDuel Sportsbook. Los Angeles will try to win their first regular season matchup over the Packers since the 2018 campaign.
The short-handed Rams outplayed the Chicago Bears in the first half but were unable to hold on in a 24-18 loss at Soldier Field. Matthew Stafford completed 20-of-29 passes for 224 yards, yet had a bad interception that ended a potential game-winning drive before it ever really began. Kyren Williams rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown while Tutu Atwell led LA with 82 receiving yards. Despite the killer loss, rookie Braden Fiske notched his first career sack.

The Packers were unable to knock off the unbeaten Vikings at Lambeau Field, losing 31-29 in Jordan Love’s return from injury after missing the last two weeks. Green Bay fell behind 28-0 in the first half before scoring 22 unanswered after halftime to get within one possession. However, the comeback was not meant to be as the Packers coughed up the ball five times, including three interceptions from Love. The star QB managed to throw for 389 yards and four touchdowns, with two going to wideout Dontayvion Wicks.
As bad as the Rams need to win this one, I don’t see them managing to upset the Packers. Green Bay’s offense was poor entering halftime against Minnesota before they put together enough fight in the second half to make their rival work for the win. Injury-riddled LA will stay in the game for a while but I don’t see them keeping up with the Pack if Love manages to play a complete game.
