Vikings at Packers: How to Watch, TV Schedule, Radio, Odds and More

It’s time for another Border Battle

Well, folks, we’ve made it to another Minnesota Vikings game day, and today the purple will take to the road and Corrugated Tin Shack Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, as they take on the Green Bay Packers in their first NFC North matchup of the year. We want everyone to be able to follow along with all of today’s action, so let’s give everybody what they need to do just that.

Television Info

This game, like every Vikings game so far this season, will kick off at the universally agreed upon best time for NFL football, that being at noon Central time. For the third week in a row, this one will be televised by CBS, including WCCO-4 in the Twin Cities, with the great Kevin Harlan and Trent Green on the call.

Here’s this week’s map from the good folks at 506 Sports. If you live in one of the blue areas on the map, your local CBS affiliate will be airing Vikings/Packers.

If you are outside of the blue areas, you’ll be able to find the game on YouTube TV Sunday Ticket.

For our men and women in uniform overseas, the American Forces Network will be airing this one LIVE on AFN Sports 2. Kickoff is slated for 1700Z, which equates to 1900L for everyone in Central Europe, 2000L for those on Arabian Time, and 0200L on Monday morning for fans in Japan and Korea.

Radio Info

If you have a Vikings Radio Network affiliate in your area, most of them will probably be carrying the game. We’ve provided you with the full list of affiliates for this season, so use our page to find the affiliate nearest to you.

For those of you who are going to use satellite radio to listen to this one, you can find the feed from the Vikings Radio Network on SiriusXM Channel 382. You can listen to the Packers feed on Channel 228 if you feel compelled to do so for whatever reason. If you’re using the SiriusXM app, the Vikings’ permanent home there is on Channel 820.

According to the folks from Football Zebras, this week’s officiating crew will be led by Bill Vinovich. The last time the Vikings saw Vinovich was in December of 2023, as he and his crew called the Vikings’ 27-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Weather Info

It should be a beautiful day for football in Green Bay, according to our friends at WeatherNation. Temperatures at kickoff will be right around 70 degrees with winds out of the northeast at 10-15 miles/hour and those temperatures will warm slightly throughout the contest.

Betting Info

The line has actually gotten less favorable towards the Vikings in this one, as they now sit as a 3-point underdog according to FanDuel after starting the week at +2.5. The over/under for this one rests at 44.5 points.

Streaming Info

If your local affiliate is not carrying the game, remember that the Sunday Ticket package now rests with YouTube TV. If you’re in the local area and have cut the cord, you should be able to find it on a service such as Fubo TV or Sling TV.
