The latest news on who’s in and who’s out.

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2024 NFL Week 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Lane Johnson, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Devin White, Tanner McKee, Trevor Keegan, and Byron Young.

Johnson was originally ruled questionable to play before being downgraded to OUT on Sunday morning. Fred Johnson figures to start in his place at right tackle. Tyler Steen might be the top backup behind Fred in addition to being Mekhi Becton’s top backup. With Johnson out, Darian Kinnard is active for the first time this season to provide more OL depth.

Brown was originally ruled questionable to play before being downgraded to OUT on Saturday afternoon. Smith was ruled out on Friday’s injury report after not practicing all week due to a concussion. The Eagles will realistically hope to get them back after their Week 5 bye. In the meantime, the Birds have just four wide receivers active for this game: Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, Parris Campbell (elevated from the practice squad), and John Ross (elevated from the practice squad and playing in his first NFL game since 2021).

White was downgraded to OUT on the injury report due to personal reasons. One can wonder if the veteran linebacker will be on the Eagles’ roster for much longer.

Under the NFL’s third quarterback rule, McKee is only allowed to play if both Jalen Hurts AND Kenny Pickett leave the game due to injury.

Keegan and Young have been healthy scratches each week so far this season.

Eli Ricks is active after missing the Eagles’ last two games as a healthy scratch.

WR A.J. Brown – Injury.

WR DeVonta Smith – Injury.

LB Devin White – Personal reasons.

QB Tanner McKee* – Third QB.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Inactive List

The Bucs ruled out starting right tackle Luke Goedeke on Saturday after he was originally ruled questionable to play. Significant loss for their offensive line.

Top two running backs Bucky Irving and Rachaad White will both play despite being ruled questionable. Irving missed some time in practice this week due to a hamstring issue. White was a Saturday addition to the injury report due to reportedly dealing with some food poisoning.

Nose tackle Vita Vea is active despite being ruled questionable to play.
