The last time the Vikings went into Lambeau Field was October of last year. They easily won the game 24-10 shutting down Love and the Packer offense. This was pre-end of season run by the Packers last year. They beat the Vikings 33-10 in Minnesota Week 17. Love should be back for this one. Interesting to see how healthy he is.
Interesting Tidbits from the Vikings Weekly Release:
- At Green Bay in 2023, then-rookie WR Jordan Addison and TE T.J. Hockenson accounted for Minnesota’s two touchdown receptions, while S Joshua Metellus grabbed his first interception of the season and returned it 43 yards, the team’s longest interception return of the season.
- The Vikings have trailed for only 3:26 this season. That is the lowest in the NFL by 8:49!
- The Vikings are 3rd in Offensive Points per Game at 26.0. Only Buffalo (37.3) and New Orleans (34.3) are higher.
- The Vikings are 2nd in Defensive Points per Game at 10.0. Pittsburgh is 1st (8.7).
- The Vikings have pressured opposing passers at the eighth-highest rate in the NFL this season (38.6%) while recording a sack on 11.0% of dropbacks (second highest).
How I see it playing out:
I see the offense of the Vikings dominating this game. Jordan Addison is on schedule to be back. Jefferson, Addison, Nailor, and Sammy Delight are going to light the cheese up. Jordan Love will be a bit rusty coming back and Flores will make it a nightmare for him. I would suggest the Pack leave him on the bench until next week. If they try to bully ball a Flores defense with the run like the last two weeks, it’s not going to work.
