CornerbackKenny Moore continued to miss practice today with a hip injury. Moore has missed practice both days this week and is looking more and more likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Steelers. If Moore is unable to play expect Samuel Womack to start at nickel corner in his place.
Defensive end Kwity Paye continued to miss practice today with a quadriceps injury. Paye has missed practice all week due to the quad injury and looks set to miss this Sunday’s game against the Steelers. If Paye is unable to play expect Laiatu Latu and Tyquan Lewis to start at defensive end on Sunday.
Right tackle Braden Smith returned to full practice today after missing practice yesterday with a knee injury. Smith returning to full practice today is huge for an offensive line which is set to under take one of its biggest challenges all year. Smith will face off with Steelers edge rusher TJ Watt who is one of the best in the business.
Center Ryan Kelly missed practice today with a neck injury. Kelly was not on the Colts injury report yesterday so it appears to be a new injury. The Colts need their offensive line at full strength against a strong Steelers defensive line. Kelly will be one to keep an eye on this week with his status for Sunday currently up in the air.
Defensive end Tyquan Lewis missed practice today with calf and wrist injuries after being a full participant yesterday. Lewis has become a vital player on the defensive line this year with Samson Ebukam landing on IR and Laiatu Latu still finding his feet as a rookie. Lewis will be needed even more if Paye cannot play Sunday too.
