NFC East showdown tonight with the Cowboys visiting the Giants in East Rutherford.
And we are off for Week 4, as the New York Giants (+ 210) host the Dallas Cowboys (- 255) in MetLife Stadium. The Cowboys open up as 5.5-point favourites, as even though they have the same 1-2 record as the Giants their roster is much stronger on paper and they do have the better quarterback. The O/U for the game at 45.5 seems a bit much, especially considering how weak the Giants’ offense is.
The Giants beat the struggling Cleveland Browns last week, led by an impressive effort by rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers who caught 8 passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns, while the defense allowed just 217 total net yards and forced two turnovers.
The Cowboys lost an entertaining shootout against the Ravens last week, and after being down 28-6 in the middle of the fourth quarter they were really close to pulling off and improbable comeback. Hats off to the now best kicker in the NFL who took the crown from Justin Tucker against him, making a kick off 65-yards.
I think the Cowboys bounce back and get a much needed win away from home against the Giants, as their back is already up against the wall rather early in the season. I believe the difference in quarterbacks will show, and that edge rusher Micah Parsons is poised for an impressive showing.
