The 1-2 New York Giants will try to even their record against the also 1-2 Dallas Cowboys this week on Thursday Night Football. History, and the odds, are not in the Giants’ favor.
Dallas has beaten the Giants six straight times, including 40-0 and 49-17 beat downs in 2023. The Cowboys have won 13 of the last 14 games between the two teams. FanDuel Sportsbook has the visiting Cowboys as 5.5-point favorites.
The Giants are coming off their only victory of the season, 21-15 over the Cleveland Browns. The Cowboys have lost back-to-back games at home. Dallas also beat the Browns, earning a 33-17 victory in Week 1.
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is 1-7 in his career as a starter against Dallas.
“We don’t like losing to anybody, especially a divisional game,” Jones said this week. “We understand what this game means, and we’ll be ready to go.”
