Can the Falcons make a statement Sunday Night?
Sunday Night Football has the Kansas City Chiefs on the road taking on the Atlanta Falcons.
The Chiefs are 2-0 after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals with a questionable penalty that put them in a position to kick a game-winning field goal.
Kansas City is still relying on Patrick Mahomes to do enough to win the game, and the defense has been good enough to cover up some real issues offensively.
Meanwhile, Atlanta is 1-1 after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles last week in a thriller. Quarterback Kirk Cousins is still shaking off some rust after missing extended time. He is surrounded by young weapons that he was able to utilize last week. Maybe a serious dose of running back Bijan Robinson is what the doctor ordered to upset the Chiefs and get to 2-1 against some seriously impressive teams.
