Our staff makes their expert picks for the NFL Week 3 battle between the Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals.
The Detroit Lions are on the road for the first time in 2024, as they travel to the desert to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 of the 2024 season.
“I always think there’s something special about going on the road,” Lions coach Dan Campbell commented. “I really do feel like it’s kind of perfect right now. We had two home games, we love being at home, but we lose a tough one there last week and I think it can recenter you because you go on the road and it’s just you. Now, we’ll probably have some fans there, there’s no question. But until we give our fans something to cheer about, it’s just us. […] there’s something about it. When you’re put under a lot of stress and you have to make decisions, you have to play for one another, and everything’s kind of against you, I think it bonds your team.”
As of Sunday morning, according to the folks over at Fan Duel Sportsbook, Detroit is still the favorite in this game and the betting line currently sits at Lions -3 points.
