The Eagles lose two starting offensive linemen and their punt returner in first half against Saints.
[UPDATE]: As expected, Lane Johnson was ruled out with a concussion coming out halftime. Britain Covey will also not return against the Saints due to a shoulder injury.
Injury Update: WR Britain Covey (shoulder) and T Lane Johnson (concussion) have been downgraded to out.

The Eagles game against the Saints went from bad to worse when the offensive line took two huge hits. First, Mekhi Becton left the field, and after being evaluated in the medical tent, went inside with trainers. Then, Lane Johnson threw up and had to be helped into the locker room. The team announced Johnson is being evaluated for a concussion — he seems unlikely to return.
Losing the starting right guard and right tackle is less than ideal. Tyler Steen went in for Becton, and Fred Johnson stepped in for Lane. Becton was seen returning to the sideline with his helmet before halftime, but was listed as questionable to return with a finger injury.
If that wasn’t bad enough, wide receiver Britain Covey also left the game with a shoulder injury, and went into the locker room early in the second quarter. Cooper DeJean was the punt returner with Covey out.
It’s never good to have injuries, but it’s extra discouraging when the team was unable to produce at full health, much less banged up at critical positions.
