Random Ramsdom: Who’s going to be left to play on Sunday?

Random Ramsdom: Who’s going to be left to play on Sunday?

Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 9/21/24

The Los Angeles Rams host the San Francisco 49ers this coming Sunday and both teams are entering this contest with a vast number of injuries to starters and players in general. It’s been rough sledding for LA who are 0-2. The 49ers are faring a bit better at 1-1. Still though, both of these teams probably are not exactly where they want to be at this point in the season. Both teams still have plenty of time to get to where they want to be though.

But like who’s going to play this Sunday? I say that in jest, this is a Random Ramsdom and we like to have fun around here! But for real the amount of injuries for both of these teams (and across the league) is staggering. We’ll see what happens this Sunday. Whereas I am picking the 49ers, I think either team can win. That’s what make this league so cool. Any given Sunday.

Please comment on whatever you want, have a great Friday, thank you for checking out Turf Show Times and I’ll say it: Go Rams!

Rams News: Multiple 49ers Stars in Danger of Missing Matchup With LA (si.com)

“The 49ers head to SoFi stadium with a number of their star players being listed as out or questionable for their availability on Sunday. In the final injury report, San Francisco standouts Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Nick Bosa, and Charvarius Ward could all be on the sideline during their Sunday afternoon game.

It was reported that 2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffery will spend the next four weeks out after suffering a calf injury during training camp. To disappoint San Francisco fans even further, both Samuel and Kittle are likely out after it was announced that the Pro Bowl tight end will be listed as doubtful after an injury to his hamstring.”

49ers vs. Rams injury report: Kittle doubtful for Week 3 game (nbcsportsbayarea)

“Him and (Pro Bowl cornerback Charvarius Ward) were sore after practice. A number of guys are,” Shanahan told reporters after practice at Levi’s Stadium. “They came in Thursday still sore and same (thing) today with Kittle.”

Ward (hamstring, knee) was back at practice, as was edge rusher Nick Bosa (ribs). The two were full participants in individual position drills during media access and were listed as questionable to play against the Rams.

Instead of Sunday’s game being a battle between two NFC West rivals, it’s looking more and more like it’ll be a game of attrition. The Rams are severely banged up across the board, and the 49ers’ injury list is a long one.”

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 3 game (usatoday)

“The battle of California rages on when the San Francisco 49ers (1-1) head south to face the Los Angeles Rams (0-2).

The 49ers woes in Minnesota continued last week when their former quarterback Sam Darnold torched his old squad. The offense looked like it misses Christian McCaffrey but the defense was surprisingly exposed. Now that Deebo Samuel is hurt, the backups are going to have to step up for San Francisco.

Week 2 could not have gone any worse for Los Angeles. Not only did they get overpowered by the Arizona Cardinals, but the Rams lost another star receiver in Cooper Kupp. It’s been a rough start, and Sean McVay’s team desperately needs a win.”
