A veteran could miss Monday Night Football, while another appears to be returning.
The Friday injury report for the Cincinnati Bengals was similar to Thursday as the team prepares for the Washington Commanders.
Quarterback Joe Burrow (right wrist) was still full go and ready to suit up Monday.
Safety Vonn Bell (back) missed practice Friday, and his status for Monday seems uncertain at best.
Wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) was again limited, paving the way for him to make his first start of 2024 in Week 3. Having Higgins back could help mightily with the Bengals’ red-zone struggles. After practice, Higgins says he feels 100% and intends to play.
Tee Higgins talking for the first time since September 5th…plans to play on Monday night. He felt ready to go last week, as advised with hamstrings – gave it another week.

Defensive tackle BJ Hill (hamstring) was running sprints on the rehab field but was not dressed for practice and is listed as a nonparticipant. While we don’t want to rule anything out, it appears it is a long shot for Hill to play Monday.
Sheldon Rankins (hamstring) also did not practice and was not seen, so his status for this week will likely mirror Hill’s.
Tight end Mike Gesicki (calf) was again limited Friday, so he should be in line to play Monday to follow up his big game in Week 2. Also in the tight end room, Tanner Hudson (knee) was again out and looks to be set for the inactive list Monday night.
Rookie offensive tackle Amarius Mims (pectoral) was also back at practice Friday. While listed as limited, there appears to be a good chance he is in uniform this week, but Trent Brown will likely get the start.
Defensive tackle Kris Jenkins (thumb) was also limited for the second straight day. He did tell reporters after practice that he could play with his hand in a club.
For Washington, everyone on their report practiced on Friday, including starting defensive end Clelin Ferrell (limited; knee) and starting cornerback Emmanuel Forbes (limited, thumb).
