Who has the advantage in this AFC East throw down?
The AFC East has some sorting out to do.
The Buffalo Bills are at the top at 2-0, but the other three teams are at 1-1. Two of them will be playing tonight as the New York Jets host the New England Patriots. FanDuel has the home team favored by 6.5 points.
The Patriots are a re-energized group under new head coach Jerrod Mayo. He has them focusing on playing smart football with a combination of a strong running game and good defense. Cincinnati Bengals fans will remember how they came into Cincinnati and upset the Bengals in Week 1. But was that the height of their season?
They will have a chance to prove themselves against the Jets, who have a healthy Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. They haven’t gotten off to a stellar start to their season offensively, as Breece Hall is only averaging 3.9 yards per carry, and Rodgers has yet to go off with pedestrian numbers all around.
Will the Jets be able to grind this one out against the Patriots? Here’s how our staff picked this one.
