Rookie destined to be better than Gronk? Gronk thinks so
Move over MinshewMania, BowersMania is getting thick.
The NFL world is buzzing over Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers after he has starred in the first two weeks of the season. Bowers, the No. 13 overall pick from Georgia, leads all NFL tight ends with 15 catches (on 16 targets) for 156 yard. No tight end has ever put together those numbers after their first two games in NFL history.
Tight end is notorious for being a tough position for players to adjust to in the NFL. Bowers is making it look easy and the greats are noticing.
Appearing this week on Up & Adams with Kay Adams, Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams said he thinks Bowers can be the same type of player than Rob Gronkowski, who is widely considered the best tight end of all-time.
Gronkowski doubled down and said he thinks Bowers can surpass him as a pass catcher.

Yes, it’s early but the juice surrounding the Raiders’ top pick is real and this is just the beginning.
