The Kansas City Chiefs’ next matchup will be against the Cincinnati Bengals at 3:25 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) on Sunday.
But first, the NFL’s Week 1 action concludes with the New York Jets on the road against the San Francisco 49ers on “Monday Night Football.”
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the 49ers are favored by 4.5 points.
A year ago, the biggest offseason story was former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers being traded to the New York Jets. But in New York’s fourth offensive snap in their Week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills, Rodgers was lost for the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
So a year later, Rodgers will make another effort to get his time with the Jets started — this time against an NFC team that in its last game, dropped Super Bowl LVIII to the Chiefs in overtime.
I think San Francisco will win this one 31-21.
