Are the Bengals a sleeper again this upcoming season?
Joe Burrow said it best during his week one press conference on Wednesday afternoon, “the NFL has a short memory.”
The Cincinnati Bengals went 9-8 last season but missed the playoffs and it is clear that national media has completely forgotten how talented Cincinnati is at full health.
Burrow has missed two seasons due to injuries, but the two seasons he has been fully healthy for he has led the Bengals to back-to-back AFC Championship appearances.
The Good Morning Football cast released their AFC playoff picture predictions earlier this week and only one member of the show had the Bengals making the playoffs… Just one… In a wildcard spot.

We come to our last member with playoff predictions and that is Akbar Gbajabiamila. He is the only member that projected the Bengals to make the playoffs…in a Wildcard spot. He also has the Baltimore Ravens winning the division.
Four words: short-term memory loss… If this team can stay healthy, they will find themselves back in the AFC Championship game searching for another Super Bowl appearance. Simple.
