Rookie wide receiver Malik Washington will not play Sunday due to a quadricep injury.
The Miami Dolphins elevated wide receiver Robbie Chosen from the practice squad for the home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Entering his ninth season, Chosen signed to Miami’s practice squad in late August after appearing in nine games for the team last season.

Rookie wide receiver Malik Washington, who missed Friday’s practice with a quadriceps injury, was ruled out for Sunday, prompting Miami to elevate Chosen. Miami could use the added depth with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Braxton Berrios, and Grant DuBose being the only healthy wide receivers entering Week 1.
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey was limited in practice Friday after missing sessions earlier in the week due to a hamstring injury, according to the injury report. Ramsey is listed as questionable, but Miami did not elevate another cornerback — potentially a positive sign for Ramsey’s availability.
Jaguars safety Daniel Thomas is out for Sunday’s game after being limited in practice all week due to an Achilles injury. Jacksonville elevated safety Terrell Edmunds to the active roster to fill his role.
