Ramsey is once again the highest paid corner in the league.
The Miami Dolphins have signed All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey to 3-year, $72.3M extension, as per Ian Rapoport and Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
The #Dolphins and All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey have agreed on another huge extension, this time a 3-year, $72.3M deal to make him the highest paid CB in the NFL again(!), per me and @CameronWolfe.

The deal makes Ramsey the highest paid cornerback in the league once again. Ramsey previously signed a 5-year, $105 million deal with the Los Angeles Rams in 2020, the highest paid deal at the time. Ramsey joined the Dolphins via trade from Rams in the middle of the 2023 offseason.
Ramsey suffered a torn meniscus in training camp last year, which sidelined the superstar corner until Week 9 last season. Regardless, he still had a stellar campaign with the Dolphins, recording three interceptions and a 53.8% completion rate when targeted in the 11 games he played. Ramsey’s efforts weren’t unnoticed by the league either, as he managed to snag the No. 25 spot on the 2023 NFL’s Top-100 list, voted on by players.

Days away from the start of Miami’s 2024 season, Ramsey is mostly healthy but is dealing with a slight hamstring issue. Nevertheless, Ramsey is fired up and should play a huge role in what should be a bounce-back year for Miami’s defense.
